2008 Wednesday night ride kickoff. Meet at Newport High at 5:15, route TBD. Knock off the rust and pretend you've done no training all winter. [img:7c60f52a7e]http://www.team-pinnacle.org/albums/bc_personal/120x90.png[/img:7c60f52a7e]

Might not be able to make it. If you do not see by 5:15 do not wait. [img:7c60f52a7e]http://www.team-pinnacle.org/albums/bc_personal/120x90.png[/img:7c60f52a7e]

Classic. I will probably be there. Not sure what the rest of you are thinking but I'm thinking along the lines of 30 miles tops as that will about tie the amount of trainer miles I did this winter in total. Specifically something like 10 to Stoney Brook to Jobs Creek to 11 and back would be nice??? Ryan

I don't think Brian really has a bike. He just posts messages and sends emails.

well in Brian's defense, he's not the first to get a group of us interested in something and then bail on it, and I'm sure he won't be the last.

I have a bike and it's not even dusty, I've been using it as a clothes drying rack all winter. :D

Stoney Brook sounds good to me and that's 30 miles more than my bike did all winter.

My computer said we averaged about 20 mph for 28 miles, and I can't complain about that for my first ride of the year, I was the weakest link, just didn't have a climbing gear, as if that comes as a surprise. Looks like I get to add Dana to the list of OLD GUYS beating me up this year. Ryan

Ryan, You can get the jump on me the next two weeks. I'll be in Rome, Italy April 16-23. Although I'll do some running and try take a spin up Mons Vesuvius (Mt Vesuvius) on one their rent-a-bikes. Last night's ride was great, I like that Stoney Brook - Job Creek loop. I usually finish it off up North Rd to Ryder Crnr past Loon Lake back to Rte 11 at Pine Tree Casting. After a hard run the day before, my legs were a little fatigued. Thanks guys... Dana
