Best early season snow coverage in several years and more is on the way. With the 6+ inches expected tomorrow, there will be nearly 12 inches of compacted snow cover out there in the open areas (less under dense foliage). It's a little known fact that the Pinnacle trail system is every bit as much fun in the winter time as it is on 2 wheels in the summer. The snowshoeing is great even before the storm tomorrow, and for the advanced backcountry explorer there is a variety of touring oportunities as well as a few hidden expert level gladed alpine downhill stashes. I don't have my touring gear (Yet!), but my snowshoes are by the door and in use at every opportunity so if your only excuse is you don't have anyone to go with post up here, chances are myself or someone else is available.
