The playground is located at the junction of Eastside and Barton Woods trails. I have added a couple more features. Playground now includes:

[list:79c8d985ba]- 2 long skinny's
- 1 short skinny
- 2 small rock drops / jumps[/list:u:79c8d985ba]

Ryan

p.s. there is at least one Fattireb sized feature lurking near by in waiting.

NICE! I think Rockboy is gonna be the first of your crew to wear knee/shin pads - soon to be followed by an "all-mountain" bike - then by the end of next season frequent trips to Highland Mountain Bike Park.

Its all good!

looking forward to seeing your creations this weekend.

I can build this stuff but I never said I could ride it. :D

I have previously already been considering an all mountain for my next ride. It's not a big leap to full faced helmet and body armour considering my last visit to the hospital and the 20 minutes or so permanently missing from my memory.

I don't think I'd even consider doing any Fattireb sized jumps or high wire acts without the proper crash gear.

FYI you might want to bring your studded tires, we are getting mixed precip today, at the moment everything is covered in white and the ground has a pretty firm layer of crust now, also ice is becoming more and more prominent out there.

Not what I wanted to hear about the snow - I'll post back for a report tomorrow. I can always go to Moody park for some slip slide fun.

I can't recommend at least knee/shin gaurds enough. I wear them always - at first it took some getting used to but now I feel naked without them.

Good luck with the skinnies - takes some time to get but soooo much fun -and the potential is endless. DON'T stare at your front tire - look at least 5 feet down the line.

lots of different styles as well. I like to go slow and seated (seat high) with balancing myself with my knees flailing. Most of my riding buddies are stand up and get down/up/across that skinny as fast as they can. No right or wrong - do what feels best.

Let me know if you need any pointers.

OH YEAH - most important one = WET SKINNIES   DON"T EVEN TRY IT :!:

Thanks for the pointers Brian.

We are headed out of town in the morning, but the weather report up here as of this hour is 50+% rain Wed & Thur, then improving a bit after that with lows in the 20's, highs around 40+-

Happy riding.
