It doesn't look like you boyz have been doing much riding since Feb.....Maybe it's time to plan a road trip to the southeastern most part of the state.....follow the link .... right click and size to 200% .....this is what's going on at the seacoast. If you've only got dial-up....well, I don't know what to tell you. http://www.mtbmind.com/capt/Mar.%206-06.wmv

Nice work, trails and video! I'm not sure why I should want to travel though? I can sit hear and get the thrill of the ride without all the nonsense of pedaling and raising my heartrate just by watching your handywork. Seriously though, when would folks want to make a road trip? I have vacation time that needs to be burned, so a weekday could work for me. Weekends are a little hit and miss for the next few weeks, but I should be able to fit in a day somewhere. What are you best days to play host Captain? Suppose it is about time to get the mountain bike ridable again. Brian [img:7c60f52a7e]http://www.team-pinnacle.org/albums/bc_personal/120x90.png[/img:7c60f52a7e]

What no hills? I would be up for a trek, especially during the week. Ride on rock=no mud. good thing. A week to 2 lead time and I am sure we can muster up a car load. PJ

Weekdays work well for me..... I work 3rd shift so after my power nap in the morning I'm good to go all afternoon. What works for you I'm pretty sure will work for me.

Capt-High-Pressure, wicked cool video, it reminds me of some of the Cornish, NH riding we have near by, except flatter. I'll tell you what I'm not thinking about skiing when I'm watching that, winter is over for me! Guys, I need a few days notice to get my bike tip top, but I could definately be in for a trip to the seacoast. Ryan

Great video. I am interested but need a few days notice. We need to do a Pinnacle video. Lets strap a camera onto Brian's helmet and send him out with a few other riders. Send me out in front and I could do some logging too.

I've got all the gear to produce professional video for the Pinnacled site. Helmet cam, hi-res DV, digi audio, editing etc... It was my profession before becoming a stay at home dad. Nathan Alone in the woods, who stands to be King?

You the Man Nathan. You mentioned video for the site a while back when Ken was still hosting, but he didn't have the bandwith then, I should have enough now to do some video on the site. Let me know what you have for video & or ideas and we can figure something out. Ryan

We could do all sorts of things, show off the trail system, amplify the races PT produces, as well as fun rides, put a little story line behind the video, narrative. You know, show some style. Nathan Alone in the woods, who stands to be King?

Nathan, My only caveat with the online video is it needs to be relatively short and demand as little bandwidth as possible. I love CaptHighPressure's work but that thing is 75.4mb, more than a couple of those would just kill my bandwidth. If you have any existing video you think might be of the proper size and resolution email it to me if it's not too large (over 8mb) and I will see what I can do with it. If it is bigger than that we will figure out another way to get it to me. Ryan rockboy at team dash pinnacle dot org

Looks like we need more than one video. One for the web and one for cable or DVD use

Didn't realize you were serious about NCTV. Yes, TV quality and Web quality are different, to the best of my knowledge, but Nathan you sound like much more of an expert on video than me. Normal web pages take tenths of seconds to send but video, not so. I only have so much bandwidth and for every streaming video being viewed a chunk of my bandwidth is gone for the duration, when all bandwidth is being used, access to webserver comes to a grinding hault. Don't forget I host many websites on my server not just TP. Thus is the perils of video on the web. Once everyone has Verizon FIOS things will change but for now we have to deal with what we have. Ryan p.s. Dan when is FIOS coming to Newport?

Ryan, we can convey all we want in as little as 10-15 second, I was just saying style count for a lot. Porn is porn be it bike or skin, it takes aesthetics to produce content that informs as well as entertains. I'm sure we can reduce the bandwidth to what ever works the best for your server.
