Jeez, No predictions? No side bets. No challenges. Ryan is being awful quiet, What I know from who is racing. Solos Richer Obrien Lovely Tom Webb Gurney? Massa Teams Herrin and O'neill H20men The wives Lovely and Richer Avery and his Generation Gap. Tim Trotter and Lauren Launen "hot to trot" McCrillis and Eldredge any other locals? As far as teams, I don't think H20men can be touched. Herrin will have to have fully recovered legs, and O'neill will have to have the ride of his life. It will be a good battle between The wives and Jason Avery's team of misfits. Not sure how McCrillis will fare, they have a great runner, but can they pedal? We know Tim can pedal and Lauren is a veteran of the TPC, so they will be hard to handle. Prediction: H20Men Herrin and O'neill McCrillis Hot to trot Lovely and Richer Wobblyspokes "R" us. PJ

Ryan has been quiet but not for any good reasons. No one wants to hear the laundry list of excuses I accumulated over the last few weeks. If there is a runner out there looking for a cyclist to team up with I would seriously entertain the idea, assuming I can get my mtb bike fixed in time. Ryan

H2O Men can be touched but can they be held? I hear that Bob H is in very good form.

I'm not making any predictions. I hope for myself that I have a nice clean MTB ride and a non-cramp road bike ride. Randy can hold his own. I know this is going be great competition and its the first time in many years that I have felt the butterflys. I think I'm coming into it and hope to be able to keep up with the rest of TP. The Double Nickles are going be a tough team to compete against. I hear there is a possibility of O'Brien (bike) and Wiley (run) teaming up. The Generation Gap and Nine Months Later ought to be a close match. Nathan, PJ and Mark, I'll still be looking in my rear view mirror after Randy finishes ... Seriously, Good Luck Team Pinnacle. I hope there are many of us on the podium!!! Dana

Anyone have a mtb to loan, mine is out of commission??? Preferably Time pedals but I have Shimano too. First Ryan style solo ride in a long time yesterday and I broke the D linkage on the rear suspension in half. Apparently the only thing that held it together was the bolt that connects the shock. I'm starting to think I'm not supposed to do this race. Ryan

Ryan, I have a Yeti 575 full suspension or a Specialized Stumpjumper hardtail freshly tuned and ready to go. Both have eggbeaters...medium sized. I will be there tomorrow helping out...not racing. Do you want to borrow one of these? I can bring both. Let me know...please post. Brian When in doubt, ride

Brian the Yeti sounds SWEET! Are you sure you want to loan that out??? My bike is a Large, not sure the medium would work but I'd really appreciate it if you could bring the Yeti. Ryan

Don't worry Jason the trails are sooooo dry they'll suck up this rain like a wet vac and the outlook for race day is promising (cloudy in the morning, clearing in the afternoon). The trails were actually too dry, this is a good thing, I think. Ryan
