I was out on the trails this afternoon. Sunday. I noticed a lot of the corner trail markers are missing. My wife got lost trying to follow the trail run. When she got back I thought it was just her not staying on the correct trail. Once I got in on my bike I noticed a bunch of the corner markers that were present last week are missing.
Just a heads up.

Probably the local youth took a few down. We kind of expect a few to go missing, so we only put up enough to get you around (well almost) We will remark this week and then do the final marking Saturday night with a course check SUnday AM. Should be fine race day. Thanks for the post. I hope she found enough of them to get a feel for the course.

oooh! big run. Sorry about that. We will be out there fixing it up. What time did she run? I ran the course at about 11:30. Thought I saw a girl going in around that time, tried to catch up, never did. If that was her, and I was faster, problem could have been averted.

Randy and I ran the course at 5pm today.
All of the arrows were there, except at four corners at the top of the toboggan chute.
Runners have to follow green arrows when they are present and orange arrows otherwise. You really have to be alert because some arrows are on the ground and others are at eye level (depending on who's height you go by).
There are three potential spots that someone could easily miss an arrow or turn.
Heading toward Brian's switchback before turning right onto Summer St, if you are not looking up to the right where the arrow is located.
Coming off Ryan's downhill, you don't see the next arrow until you are around the corner.
Turning onto No Name off South Trail some one could go straight down to Chenney St because the arrow is set into left a bit.
Everything looked fine.

We are both familiar with the arrows. Like I said last Sat there were more at the intersections than today.
Sounds like you know the trails really well!

Markers fixed. A couple logs got moved that had arrows attached, I bet thats where she went wrong. All set now, and will be race marked saturday evening, so there will be no chance on making a wrong turn.
See you Sunday.
