Rockboy....You did an incredible job on Coit Mtn. The climb is do-able and the descent was laid out to perfection.

Thank you Capt-high-pressure. We all pitch in the way we can, the race, the trails, etc, none of it would be possible without the efforts of the Team as a whole, not to mention you the participant. Ryan

You guys are all scumbags and I hated every minute of the meticulously groomed switchback singletrack climbing, perfectly constructed armoring, rippin fast downhill, the custom medal, pleasant weather and PJ's haircut. Too bad you spent so much time making us a real MOUNTAIN bike race that was so well run...good for nuthin' mountain bikers! Honestly, I loved it. How would you like to come down to Concord for a Quarries etc. ride? Sept 8th? ... -Al Snomobike!

http://www.mtbmind.com/capt/The%20Pinnacle.jpg From where I'm standing it looks as if you could head due north....tunnel under the road a-la Fort Rock.....and add the mountain on the other side of the road to next years course.

I agree, that would be really sweet. In fact what you refer to as a road is power lines, so no tunneling neccissary. Landowner approval, and an army of volunteers and that could be a reality. Ryan

This event just gets better every year. One of the hardest mtn bike courses I have ever ridden, every aspect of a course you could wish for. It helps point out all strong/weak spots in one's riding abilities, true mtn bike racing. Thank you, Michael Patrick

I just want to say thanks to all the volunteers who helped out with the race, but especially -- Dan (water) and Mark/Ryan (tire change). The course was really great, and I know a lot of hard work was put into the down hill from Coit Mtn. Thanks much!!! Looking forward to the Pinnacle Challenge
