Welcome the the site Jesse. I found a set of trigger shifters for your bike project and also a front derailleur. For you guys that don't know Jesse is building up a frame. He has a Giant NRS just like Brian C. He needs just about everything. Brian what did you do with your old front fork? Dan

O.K that sounds great, although I received a front derailleur from P.J just now but the shifters definitely sound like a deal. If you go on the weekly rides on wednesdays, you could just bring them then, or if you leave me your address and a time to stop by I would love to ride out there and get some extra training. Thanks, Jesse Shull

I don't replace anything unless it is junk, so all my old stuff has been chucked. [img:7c60f52a7e]http://www.team-pinnacle.org/albums/bc_personal/120x90.png[/img:7c60f52a7e]

Jesse, I have a never been used rockshock judy xc that a relative picked up at a closeout department store for $30. Hopefully, one of the more experienced MTB members of team pinnacle can chime in regarding whether or not it is worth putting on your bike. Chris

here are some reviews: http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/front_shocks_2002/product_78723.shtml I have no idea about this particular model, but I had a low end Rock Shock on my old low end bike and it sucked. That said I also know a few people who do Have various Rock Shock models and they don't seem to mind them so in summary I have no idea about this particular model, but I can tell you this, my Fox Shox are awesome, a little more travel, and you could high fly in style, if you like that sort of thing. My experience has told me the more you spend on shocks typically the better they are, but conversely the more expensive the maintenance will be also. Ryan

I would like to check out the fork on MTB mind it looks a little better quality... also the ratings look a little poor for the JUDY. Thanks for the offer but I think I want to try and get a sid fork, little better quality.

I had a Judy on my first Giant NRS. It was a 2001 or 2002 model and it worked fine for me and I was well over 200 then. I would not hesitate to put one on a trail bike. A race bike would be better with a fork with some adjustment and lighter weight. The guy I sold the bike to 5 years ago is still riding it. Dan

I think i am going to get this fork, its brand new and includes a headset, which I need, and it has lockout. http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/16026-315_ROCD37_KIT-3-Parts-59-Forks/Accessories/Rockshox-Dart-3-w_-Poploc-Suspension-Fork-'07-w_-Cane-Creek-S-3-Headset.htm

That should work fine for you. Nice that it has a lock out and a headset.
