If what he said holds to be true.....we should see Armstrong next Sunday November 5th tackle the NYC Marathon. If anyone finds anything about it send it my way.

That somehow makes me feel good to know Lance just barely broke 3 hours and that he showed a healthy respect for the sport afterwards. Shows just how different running and cycling are.
Still, a very impressive accomplishment to break 3 hours in your first marathon, whether you're a world champion cyclist or not.

The December issue of Outside magazine features an interview with Lance. At the end of the interview, Outside asks "Do you train like you did on the bike?" Lance: "No. I just run. I check my pace now and again...I hope I don't crawl." OM: "You'll be content to be an average runner?" Lance: "Yeah." OM: So the fact that French cyclist Laurent Jalabert once ran the NYC Marathon in 2:55 means nothing?" Lance: "I don't care. I don't care. (Pause) I'd still beat him up Alpe d'Huez."
