Well it looks like the long awaited winter might actually arrive today, at least for a brief period.

Snowshoeing is officially on for this Thursday from my place at 5:30pm. I can't guarantee we will be snowshoeing next week so don't miss the shortest snowshoeing season on record.

It was a great snowshoe. Time will tell if it was the only one of the season.

The forecast for next Wednesday is a high of 47 and Thursday 60. I think the start and end of Thursday night snowshoeing was March 1st.
