I rode Saturday with studs, probably would have been OK with wide spaced knobs and no studs (just a few patches of ice scattered about). There are a couple inches of snow in the woods right now. Many of the trails have seen foot traffic which helped, and I packed one line on every trail except Coit. May be another inch or two between now and Thrursday, but nothing that should stop you from having some fun. Nice - Thanks B. Looks like I'm packing up the bike. Anyone up for a ride at either Pinnacle, Cornish or Moody Thursday AM at 8:30? Stearing by IMPACT in search of FLOW

I might be up for that. Any room to carpool since we will both be coming from Claremont? -- Ken "If you brake, you don't win." Racer Mario Cipollini

I would recommend Newport. Moody is quite wet right now, Cornish is proabably still buried with leaves. The Pinnacle, leaves have been blown off and she is dry. [img:7c60f52a7e]http://www.team-pinnacle.org/albums/bc_personal/120x90.png[/img:7c60f52a7e]

Newport sounds good. What time and where do you want to meet? I will need the Dunkin Donuts first. Ride at 8:30. Stearing by IMPACT in search of FLOW

I'm not going to be able to make it at 8:30 afterall. I do have to go to Newport later in the day and plan on bringing my bike with me. -- Ken "If you brake, you don't win." Racer Mario Cipollini

I hiked out to Coit and back on Sunday and it was nice to see tracks. How was Salem's Lot in the snow? I saw you hit the Eastside Berm high, you just have to appreciate a guy who rides in a couple inches of snow like he would on dry ground. :) fattireb, did you ride Pinnacle yesterday? Like Currier said, we got about another inch of snow through Thu morning. I'm curious how the trails road after that. If we don't get any appreciable snow before the first of the year, I might have to take a ride around the trails. Ryan

Everthing rode nice, just a lot slower. Salem's berms have a bit of frost that slows the momentum, but still fun. I agree Ryan, if this next storm is a miss I may have to get out again. I hope I do not get the chance though. [img:7c60f52a7e]http://www.team-pinnacle.org/albums/bc_personal/120x90.png[/img:7c60f52a7e]

I rode Thursday from 2-4 (morning plans got soaked by a leaking hottub at the in-laws). Was great to be out - quads screaming from 3+ inches snow in spots but 95% ridable (only thing preventing 100% was my poor fitness). I followed some of B's trqacks but managed fresh lines on Hale Trail. Now back home in NY and looks like we have 10-15+ coming in tomorrow... see you in 2011 Stearing by IMPACT in search of FLOW

Weatherman is saying winter is on its way. I'd say trail riding is officially over for the season (unless you get out today). If the dump they are saying happens, Wed night snowshoeing will commence on Jan 5th at my house. Ryan
