I have a cycleops jet fluid trainer. I paid $369.99 for it last year and used it only five or six times. I got nervous using my carbon fiber bike on it so I put my mountain bike on it and was not satisfied with the workout. Decided to just teach spin class or work out at the gym. Was too easy or noisy?

It was great when I had my road bike on it. I have a Felt F1 road bike and I was nervous having it in a stationary position. I was afraid I would damage it. I thought about buying a cheap bike to put on the trainer, but bought a spin bike instead. It's a fantastic trainer if you have a road bike to put on it or if you don't mind putting your regular bike on it. I'm probably just paranoid, but I love my Felt and did not want to damage it. The wheel is all enclosed to minimize the noise. It's very sturdy.
