I am sad to let you all know that Micheal Patrick has passed away after a long and inspiring fight with cancer. Micheal was a long time supporter of the Pinnacle mountain bike race, always letting us know that this is how a mountain bike should be. He was always smiling and having fun, always fast but never too serious. I will never forget how he was always the last one out of the parking lot. He would hang around and cheer for everyone until the last novice award had been handed out, then thank us one more time before leaving and saying he will see us next year. While we will not see you next year Mike, you will be in our thoughts.
