Plan is to race the Shenandoah 100. Will be signing up very soon for the Early Registration. The race sounds very challenging. I've heard nothing but good things about the trails, how the race is run, aid stations, ect... Looking forward to it.

Well, I am registered and was all excited that by the end of the year I will be able to say "I finished a 100 mile MTB race." Now, the more I think about it, the more I ask myself "are you crazy? That is a shit load of miles and just as much climbing." So, now I don't think I am going to do the race afterall. If anyone is interested, its a $20 transfer fee for my spot.

That's too bad Ken. I was really quite jealous of you after reading a Lance Twitter a couple months ago. Not sure if it this race, but I'm not sure what else he could have been talking about.
