Not my best performance by a long shot and yet ironically my best place. Funny how these things happen. I think I can thank Matt & Chad for not showing up for my 3rd place.

Well after taking a good look at my splits I expected to see better numbers up front with a complete breakdown on the trail run but what actually happened is my numbers asside from the road run where off all the way along which is I guess a pretty good reflection of how I felt overall today and how you get to 2:54:29.

Considering I walked almost the entire ascent of the trail run I am somewhat surprised my trail run wasn't a lot slower. I guess when you are normally going at a turtles pace to begin with walking isn't that much slower.

Better luck next year I guess.
