Call me stupid, but I really want to do it. The team of Bob Herrin and Dan O'Neill has graciously agree to take me on if we can find one more rider to make a 4 person team. So if there is anyone out there who'd like to do it and needs a team speak up ASAP. Early registration ends this Friday 6-9-2006 and I'm sure Dan & Bob want to register by Fri either way.

The race starts at noon on Sat. Aug, 12th and ends at noon (more or less) on Sun. Preregistration 4 person pricing is $110 each after Fri that goes up to $145 each. This includes race fees, camping fees, and a BBQ on Sat night.

You guys should go ahead and sign up as a 4-person team today, just put a John Doe in as the 4th person. We will be able to recruit someone over the next couple months to join the fun.

I disagree. As much as I'd like to do the race, I thing Bob and Dan should go ahead and sign up as a 2 person team. I've talked to just about everyone I think would be remotely interested in the race and it doesn't look good.

Go ahead guys without me maybe better luck next year.
