I discovered there is a major ground nest of bees on Pine Link between the Salems Lot crossing and the Eastside intersection just before the Eastside intersection. It is just as you are popping out of the woods onto the old double track.

Our meer presence staring into the rather large diameter hole in the ground, resulted in a defensive action. I didn't stick around long enough to get stung.
