Not MTB, but covering the course... Randy and I plan on running the Pinnacle course (9-10 miles). No drop, if anyone would like to join us to enjoy the fallen leaves. Wear Red or Orange because there are hunters out there. Dana

Or wear red, orange, and brown, that ought to make you just about invisible. :D I might be willing to give it a go, not sure I can make it that far thou, haven't been doing much since the Challenge. Ryan

Not a problem, the pace is yours. We are out there just to cover the ground and enjoy the fallen foliage, but not at any blistering pace. Look forward to having your company, Ryan.

Ryan, As it is Randy's plans have changed for that weekend. So far, it would be you and I and we can make it a hike a run. We do plan on running the Eastman Turkey Trot Five Miler on the golf cart paths on Nov 10th and running at one more of these the next weekend (Nov 18) before we run the Sunapee Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day. This is all training for Indoor Track at BU for Randy and I, which we do every Dec for two or three weeks depending on their schedule. Dana

Remember that deer muzzle loader season starts Saturday. You guys move about as fast as a deer in the woods.

Yes, we remembered, Thanks Dan We'll run slower and won't wear brown or white caps and gloves. May not make a difference though. There have been some weird shootings in the name of hunting!

would you guys mind if a newcomer joined up to run with you for at least a while on saturday? i've been kickin' around the area for about a year and half now and have yet to find anyone to train with. (and also just recently discovered the pinnacle trails at six in the stix, and wouldn't mind a "guided tour") happy trails, -adam

The more the merrier Adam. Dana & Randy are both solid runners and are in great shape, me on the other hand, haven't done much since the Challenge and am not in good shape. FYI, they are talking about 9 miles of tough terrain. Ryan

Adam, Glad to have you along, be at the HS parking lot at 9am sharp. Don't let Ryan kid you, he's tough. Dana

I cannot make it today guys (final easy run before the marathon tomorrow) ... but I thought this was a good thread on which to post this. I have taken Tina on the run you are planning to do today three times now, and we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves every times (well ... except the one time when I convinced her we still had enough daylight and we just made it out of the woods before you could not see your feet anymore ... that run was great until about 1 mile to go ... but I got an earfull after that). Running the trails have made me appreciate even more how much work it must be to maintain and keep improving them the way Team Pinnacle does ... THANKS!!!

Good Luck Chris and Tina, along with Bob and Laura Herrin, Becky Bates and Dan Labbe that I know of. I'll be looking for your results on Coolrunning Sunday night. Thanks Ryan, Mark and Adam for running with Randy and I this morning. Lots of leaves on the trails. On the way back Ryan diverted onto a what appeared to be a new trail around the back of the Pinnacle. It was nice and other than Ryan, I think we were the first to run on it. I'm not sure how far we ran this morning, but it took us 1:28:49 out there in the woods. Next weekend we'll be running the Annual Turkey Trot Fun Run/Walk Grantham, NH 10:00AM The Center, 6 Clubhouse Lane (Run or walk the cart paths on the golf course to benefit needy families.) Contact: Charlie Taber (Eastman Recreation), PO Box 53, Grantham, NH, USA, 03753. 1-603-863-6772 charlie@eastmannh.org

I measured the run to be about 8.75 miles, which works out to 10:09 pace, it seemed a lot faster than that, but what do I know. Ryan
