Discovery's chances just went up big time. I can't freakin believe it. Basso Out Ullrich Out, Looks like an American maybe atop the podium. I am really embarrassed for the Cycling world. My gut reaction is to believe the riders to the bitter end, or until they admit it. We shall see how this pans out. PJ

I was excited to watch this year's race. Now I will still watch, but curiosity about what will happen next is now the reason. It is a shame, it casts a doubt over all the riders at that level. Does riding clean now mean you just have not been caught yet? [img:7c60f52a7e]http://www.team-pinnacle.org/albums/bc_personal/120x90.png[/img:7c60f52a7e]

I truly don't understand how some of thses guys think they can get away with this. An even better question is why would you want to win this way. What the Tour needs to do is test, test, test and those that are positive should be secretly druged (in their water bottle) for under performance. And those that are not positive should be doped to over achieve. Then the next year do nothing and watch the race.

That would be an interesting experiment Dan, but highly unethical. I wonder if the desire to win has been over shadowed by their desire to collect the big bucks. Yes, both desires would play on your will to be competitive, but in the end cash pays more bills than legacy. A major let down for the cycling world, but I'm glad the Tour de France is strict enough to bounce the two most prominent abusers out of the peloton. Alone in the woods, who stands to be King?

Nathan They are not a news organization but Active.com has a Tour site that has daily contest and easy links to several daily blogs of people closely following the event. This is the link for the contest and daily Tour links. You just need to give them your email address. http://www.active.com/story.cfm?story_id=11843&sidebar=725&category=tdf2006_sweeps

OLN when at home, Velonews at work. Heard we might be able to get a good deal on big green plastic hands for the spectators at the Pinnacle. We can line them up along the plummet and try to slice the arms off the racers as they fly by. [img:7c60f52a7e]http://www.team-pinnacle.org/albums/bc_personal/120x90.png[/img:7c60f52a7e]

Despite the arm slicing the man is back in the hunt today and it looks like he will take the yellow jersey for tomorrow.
